Geosciences Student Research Symposium
The 22nd annual Geosciences Student Research Symposium (GSRS) will take place on February 23 and 24, 2017 in the Department of Geosciences. Undergraduate, Masters, and PhD students will present summaries of their research activities to members of the faculty and fellow students, as well as to members of the general public and our friends and supporters in industry.
This unique event showcases the breadth and depth of research activities conducted in our department and provides an opportunity for students to develop presentation skills in an environment that promotes active scientific dialog. A panel of faculty members will award outstanding presentations and posters.
Presentations will be held on Thursday, February 23rd and Friday, February 24th in Kelly Hall, room 310. This year, GSRS will hold a poster session dedicated to undergraduate research on Thursday morning in Kelly Hall, Cafe-X. Refreshments will be available throughout the event, and an informal dinner will be served in the museum following the completion of the presentations on Friday.
