Danielle Carpenter

Danielle Carpenter is currently the General Manager for GOM Exploration & Appraisal at Chevron. She has over 27 years of experience spanning both Asset Development and Exploration.  Her experience also includes international exploration efforts in the Gulf of Thailand and Brazil and pursuing New Ventures in Brazil, Angola's Ultra Deep Water, and Australia's Northwest Shelf for Chevron. She has Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Geology from Virginia Tech and a Master’s Degree in Geology from University of Texas at Austin.  Danielle is passionate about STEM education, and sits on the Advisory Board at Virginia Tech and at the Jackson School of Geosciences at UT-Austin.
